Council 6787 was formed in 1976 by the actions of Knights in neighboring councils in Jackson, Tennessee and Union City, Tennessee. Their charter was granted on April 8, 1976. The council was named after Bishop Adrian, the first bishop of Nashville.
     The council currently meets on the third Wednesday of the month and has 60 members.
     From its beginning in 1976, the council has raised over $ 125,000 (with matching Federal funds totaling over $ 500,000) for the mentally and physically handicapped. Currently the Knights are sponsoring a seminarian.

"Tootsie Roll" Fund Drive
Annual Bar-B-Que Chicken Sale
Annual Golf Tournament
Pancake Breakfasts
PRE & Church Support (funds and manpower)
Husband & Wives Dinner
Annual Parish Christmas Party
